Guest guest
I gave all of my teachers GFCF cookie mixes, specifically " Cookies for the Cause " , and baked them some homemade choc-vanilla pinwheels from the same mixes so they could enjoy some already baked. http://www.kirkmanlabs.com/products/casein_free/cookiesforthecausesugar.html WARNING!! Guest guest
Hi, There is a total of 8 therapists and teachers. So I have to go cheap...I found some painted wooden figurines (snowman & santa) at Hobby Lobby for 1/2 off so they were only $5 each. I bought one for each. For the bus drivers (2), I made a set of 4 marble magnets and packaged it. I like to scrapbook & make cards so I used stamping products to make the marble magnets. Last year I gave everybody a pair of fuzzy slipper socks. It's hard coming up with ideas every year! Good LUck! > > Can anyone share what types of holiday gifts you are giving this year to the special teachers, therapists and bus drivers in your lives? Guest guest
I did candles that look like ball ornaments. They all loved them.
Guest guest
We made Dawson's teachers bracelets out of holiday colored beads. It wasn't expensive but they seemed to really like it because we made them ourselves. CHARM IS DECEPTIVE, AND BEAUTY IS FLEETING; BUT A WOMAN WHO FEARS THE LORD IS TO BE PRAISED. Guest guest
I kind of did the same thing. I got his two teachers these things from walmart that are foot massagers with little animal heads on them. For the aides, he picked out two very nice glass candy dishes. Guest guest
Gift suggestions? As a therapist, the nicest gifts I've received from my clients' families have been a photo of their child, a note or card with a simple statement of thanks, or simple quotes expressing their sentiments. I keep their photos on my bulletin board and refrigerator, and it gives me much pleasure to be reminded of students I've had the good fortune to know. While we don't do our work expecting gratitude, it is always appreciated, as most of us want our work to be personally meaningful. And of course, such gifts can be given anytime.
