Guest guest
Hi, everyone. Sorry for the crossposting! I'm giving a workshop in Westchester County, NY (site TBD) is on Saturday, January 19th and Sunday, January 20th. Additional info is available on my website _www.BurkABA.com_ (http://www.BurkABA.com) under Training. If you'd like to attend, please email me at _BurkABA@..._ (mailto:BurkABA@...) to let me know. This training series is intended for parents of learners with autism or other developmental disabilities, those who have never worked in ABA but are interested in being trained, and those who already work as ABA staff but need a refresher or more specific training in teaching verbal behavior. Each training series will last for 2 days; both full days are mandatory. Each training day will last from 9:30 AM until 5:30 PM. Day 1 will consist mainly of brief background on the science of behavior analysis, addressing problem behavior, gaining instructional control through " pairing, " and effective teaching procedures. Day 2 will focus on teaching verbal behavior, balancing DTT and NET, data collection, and using the ABLLS to guide instruction, among other topics. We will also spend several hours in intensive hands-on training, practicing the teaching procedures across verbal operants and other skill repertoires. Q & A and discussion of the material covered will happen throughout the weekend. Attendance is limited to 40 people. **Please email me ASAP at _CHRISTINABURKABA@..._ (mailto:CHRISTINABURKABA@...) if you're interested.** Hope to see some of you there. Best, _________________________________ Burk, M.A. Consulting Behavior Analyst _www.BurkABA.com_ (http://www.BurkABA.com) 1 (866) 538-2575
