Help with patient re sperm count

To all,

I just obtained a seminal fluid analysis for infertility work up. Fenestrated

condom, the special collection ones used at PPVI...sperm count was 0, volume was

low at 0.7 ml, pH low at 6.2. Spun sample showed no sperm either.

This was from a lab not delighted but willing not to use usual collection

measures...anything about the condom that would do this?? I've never seen a 0

count before.

I would surmise next step is urology referral? He's 31, healthy otherwise.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
