Guest guest
Well, i think i'm going to be having a quiet weekend after all. I was going to the luncheon on Saturday, but I can't go on Saturday night as hubby is going out. I won't ruin the evening by dragging my loveable but naughty 7 yr old along! I think Sunday will be spent preparing for my uni exams which were rearranged because of the operation. If u get bored and feel like travelling out to the sticks, you are more than welcome to pop in! Libby :-) Good on you for holding back, as tempting as it is you have to be a bit good. Heck its only 2 weeks and then you will be eating 'regular' again. Having a quiet weekend apart from the site activities. I have next week to party! I am going to get a hair cut and use a facial voucher my brother gave me for my birthday. I am going to clean next week. Its going to be a big top to tail wholesale clear out. I have decided that there is all this crap that I keep hanging on to and I don't need or use. Its going. I might price a small dump bin once I have worked out how many cubic meters of junk I need to rid myself of. I am a hoarder, but there are things that I haven't used in years – what am I keeping them for? So I am starting to formulate a plan in my mind. Once I come back to work its going to be a new me as far as clearing out the old me and all its associated tatt. I am going to be strong (hear that Mimi) I am going to say no – and not explain! (Bet you didn't expect that long winded answer when you casually asked) What are you up to this weekend? Nx
Guest guest
Yeah that sounds like a VERY good idea re the squatting! I might give it a go and see if it was successful. Gosh I'm missing my usual morning skinny latte. Libby :-) New Message Search Find the message you want faster. Visit your group to try out the improved message search. Guest guest
Hi Libby Hehe – they would not be the only people out there like that, actually I reckon there would be a few of them! I have to say, I did not realize that you can now buy Xenical over the counter at Chemists – when my doctor recommended it to me, it was prescription! But I guess I shouldn't take the brochures to heart too much - they always pick up brochures about all kinds of diseases/illnesses - it is like a hobby. Sometimes I wonder if their favourite activity is going to the doctor! Libby
Guest guest
Sorry we won't get to see you tonight, but even more sorry about the circumstances. Hope your friend's hubby makes it in time. You are a good friend to unselfishly give your support like that. Take care Cherie
Guest guest
LOL, I can just see the little thing sitting there scratching away oblivious to the pain his act is causing around the world... I might turn on tune in and drop out with some Vega. I am a 702 listener, but it's always good to have a bit of an experiment to see what the others are doing. Guest guest
Yes he was a very mean little squirrel. He'd better watch out if I catch up with him. I enjoy 702 as well, but am hooked on their 'celebrity wine cellar' segment at the moment. Libby :-) Visit Your Group
Guest guest
I just miss Adam Spencer from his JJJ days, that is what has me hooked across to 702. I actually love jumping in the car to drive to work listening to him - how sad listening to a math's geek when I can hardly do my times tables past 2. Guest guest
Good on you for napping - hey I love Bold and the Beautiful. Can't watch it because i am at work, but I do keep up with the happenings online. I love the crappyness of it. How they have the clicking noise of their shoes to create atmosphere how they can marry their brothers ex and not think that was weird etc. So unlike real life, but yes so tragic! Guest guest
My fav. character on Bold and the Beautiful was always . Don't ask me why! Is she still on it? The last time I watched Bold and the Beautiful, Rick was trying to win back Amber! No doubt Amber and Rick have probably divorced a couple of times by now and Amber is having Ridge's baby! Guest guest
Last time I checked was still on there. I haven't seen anything of the Rick/ Amber situation lately - you don't get the full story lines but enough to whet the appetite. Hope you are on the mend now! Guest guest
Phew, no team building sports - just eating and talking. Nothing resolved or decided on, guess we will have to have another meeting to resolve that. Importantly tho - I ate an entree and a main with no problem, let me clarify that tho... I had 1/2 doz oysters, 2 natural, 2 in bloody and 2 tempura and then an entree of the salt & pepper squid. So really I only had a small meal but at least I had the psychological 'two course' in front of my team mates (only one knows about the band because she was looking into it and I blabbed) How has your day been?? Not long to go now... Nx
Guest guest
Hi, glad to hear that no team building sports involved! Lunch sounds really, really yummy. I've always been tempted to try salt & pepper squid, but have been scared that it would get stuck. I might be adventurous and give it a go. I thought I was having a reasonable Friday, until the boss decided to give me a 100 different things to do before I'm allowed to go home :-( What are you up to this weekend? Luv. Guest guest
Libby I haven't been drunk or had more than a glass or two maximum in over 6 years. I don't know what I would be like; I am determined to get into drinking shape for Hawaii tho. I am going to have a few cocktails whilst I am over there this time! We will have to do it, that would be fun! Nx
Guest guest
since you haven't had a 'wild night' in more than 6 years, i think you had better get into some serious training! I'm more than willing to help you with that! Libby Libby I haven't been drunk or had more than a glass or two maximum in over 6 years. Guest guest
Hi Nx Sounds like you had a yummy lunch. I wish I could have been there with you. I just love seafood. We are having a team dinner at the casino on 27/10 and I am looking forward to the prawns - yum oh. Now you go home put your feet up and destress. I think we all have to do that this weekend after the week we have all just had. We now know that the hardest part is over for our dearest Ghyll and all she has to do is lay back there and recover. Take care and be kind to yourself. Cheers Mazz Oh I didn't get the results of the knee x-rays the doctor was too busy so I have to go back on Monday afternoon and collect them. I will just have to have a peak at them then. LOL wrote: > > Phew, no team building sports - just eating and talking. Guest guest
Libby I think we should all make a date for the conference next year for big celebratory drinks.
