Guest guest
Good Morning All - I have been a member of this group for a bit... I enjoy getting the digests in my mail on a daily basis; reading what all you wonderful people are up to and struggling with... just like me This is the first time I am posting something because after watching Wife Swap last night, I am very saddened by 's husband and his behavior towards the mid-western woman. It saddens me to see him say those terrible comments to the MWW (Mid West Wife) in front of his children. I don't care how much drama producers are looking for, they didn't need to look for it in this case, it was clearly there. 's husband's behavior was completely uncalled for, rude, obnoxious and annoying. He portrayed the stereotypical rude Englishman to a T. Children learn what they live and with 's husband as a father, it appears they are learning to be judgmental and intolerant. What really saddens me is that , after hearing the pain in the MWW's voice, as she described how 's husband acted and the things he did, said NOTHING to him about his behavior. For a woman who comes across as someone so strong, someone who truly cares about helping people with their weight loss struggles, whose career is built almost entirely on women such as the MWW, to say nothing to either the woman who was in pain, or the husband who inflicted it, says a lot to me. I sensed a lot of unhappiness in ; perhaps resentment and shame as well about her husband's actions... he had no right to speak to the MWW like that; I just feel bad about the whole situation and the people involved... especially 's children who had to witness the verbal abuse, and become a part of it by being made to ignore the MWW... shameful! It truly makes me question what 's intentions truly are. Bella
