Guest guest Posted September 7, 2008 Report Share Posted September 7, 2008 , I really do think you should talk with your doc about this because any 'weakness' you have in your body WILL be exacerbated while on tx.. it just seems to make anything worse.. Do you have Rheumatoid arthritis? You probably need to see an ortho before you start tx just to make sure you dont have some kind of infection in your knee joint... and yes, if you need to have pain meds while on tx,, you should ask for them..I had to have them while on tx as the INF really kicked my butt (literally, my butt and hips ached bad)..Jackie Subject: need an opinonTo: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Sunday, September 7, 2008, 8:52 PM My right knee has been hurting for about a week. I had lots of it at times, and it moved around sometimes-- sometimes with inflamation. Sensible exercise and good eating habits, with some OTC painkillers now and then, took care of it most days. Other days-- well, it's one of the reasons I approached my doc about TX (which I'm doing now). Many times depression brings on body pains-- I've had those too. Right now my Effexor ER 75 is handling any and all of that. Anxiety and worry can manifest in body discomfort-- do some SERIOUS, (HEALTHY-- NO DRINKING!!) stress relieving, get some comforting from those who care about you, & consider talking to your Higher Power if you aren't already. Besides: bubble baths, fresh air & sunshine about 15 minutes a day; and giving your worries up to the Higher Power with the loud whine " I CAN'T FIX THIS BY MYSELF-- YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO HELP ME!!
