Guest guest
I just want to make sure I understand flossing correctly. You take a nylon with rubbing alcohol on it and thread it through the cast and move it back and forth to clean under the cast. Guest guest
Flossing can also be (if you have the kind of undersweater t-shirt that is not taped to the cast)- just genty pulling/working it back and forth inside the cast- using the edges that are sticking out- the neck/bottom/sleeves, etc...does that make sense? Just by moving back and forth it gives the skin a rub.Heidi, Bexon's Mama, (2 years old, in 3rd cast from Salt Lake City Shriners, currently down from 61 degrees to 25) Subject: FlossingTo: infantile_scoliosis Date: Saturday, September 5, 2009, 3:25 PM I just want to make sure I understand flossing correctly. Guest guest
Yes.... You don't have to use rubbing alcohol if you don't want to..... You can just use the cloth. - Noelle's mommy, 2 1/2 years old and in 8th cast from Rochester NY, reflux, mild plagiocephaly, mild torticollos, hypotonia, ligament laxity, suspected Ehler's Danlos III Subject: FlossingTo: infantile_scoliosis Date: Saturday, September 5, 2009, 10:25 PM I just want to make sure I understand flossing correctly.
