Guest guest
Where on earth are you all??? I have been out done the medical stuff, bought a t-shirt and gym pants for curves, picked the kids up, wandered around the shops, had a chat to a nice old lady waiting for someone to pick her up (I think they abandoned her now I think about it)... and no one has had anything to say whilst I have been gone. I will say, have a good weekend, the weather is glorious, I have some Junior Mints cause I was near Big W... but I will take them to my friends for dinner tonight so they will share the calories with me. I am actually thinking about Balmoral for a few hours tomorrow... we will see how I feel tomorrow morning. My throat is still shocking, but the headache is gone, so I must be getting better. Guest guest
Hiya Me Well I was offline all weekend, it was terrible. I felt so Luddite, I was really lost. I had to go and do things for myself on Saturday unaided by technology. I had to go to a hotel in the city for a job and I had to find the place all by myself - no whereis.com.au - you have no idea how tough that was, LOL. I had a good weekend tho, did some hardcore eating. Friday night we had a work function and I managed to eat some really nice haloumi cheese and then promptly pb'd it. I was dreading the next course that I had to have – went for the fillet steak because the other choices were ravioli or chicken and I knew that the ravioli would be trouble and the chicken might be too dry. So the steak it was, and it went down so well – no problem. Then Saturday we went to yum cha, ate a nice lot of things with no problem. Saturday night I went to The Nepalese Kitchen on Crown St and it was fantastic. We had the banquet and I was able to pick my way thru all of it having a bit of everything and no problems! Yesterday tho was a different story. I went to the German club for fathers day and I had the leberkaus (like a meatloaf, but not really) with spetzle. Well the spetzle ruined me, nothing else stayed down for the rest of the day. So I just contented myself with some tea and then made a pot of lentil soup – even that gave me grief. So I have had nothing much apart from my usual cup of chai this morning. I will have soup in about half an hour and we shall see how it goes. I am meeting friends for ribs tonight so I want to be able to eat that will no problems! How was everyone else's weekend? Nx
