Hello.I did my 1st shot last night and today I feel fine. Why would that be? Is the medication working? I thought I should be feeling poorly today? Has anyone else experienced this? I just hope it's working...Sara

I never had problems after a shot. Did it

around 10:30 pm and was fine in the morning. Only once did I wake with

shivers, but I think that was due to a flu shot.

I used to wonder if there really was interferon

in the syringe.

I really feel that more problems come from

the Ribavirin that the shots.

Don’t worry, Sara………..just

hope that it continues for the duration of your treatment!!

yes, it is working Im sure,, you 'may' feel something today or tomorrow, or you might not until you get enough of it in your blood which may take a few shots.. I remember sometimes wondering if there was anything in the Interferon bottle and other times, it kicked my butt hard...JackieSubject: 1st Shot Last NightTo: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 8:33 AM

I take my shots on Thursday nights and get some minor side effects on

Mon-Tue. I think typically most people will feel the effects of the

shot about 6-7 hours after taking it.

Hello ,

I am on week 2 of my shots. I will give myself my 3rd shot this

Friday. So far I feel ok. Last weekend I stayed up late, had fun, went

to the movies and only felt a little bit tired.

So far my quality of life is normal. This afternoon I felt jittery.

But other than that I am good. I was SO scared about starting

treatment and so far so good.

Hello Sara.

My name is Trina. I will take my 8th shot Tues. I am doing real well.

I thought the same thing as you because l didnt have any real problems,

in fact l even asked my doctor if l got sugar water because l didnt feel

anything. But l can tell you my blood work was doing what it was

supposed to do. And now l just got my results of my viral load and it

shows that l am undetected so it is working. I even went on a month

long vacation while taking this med. So yes it is possible. But just

remember that it could get a little worse. I now have incredible

tiredness and headaches but still so far so good. Good luck and God

bless. Trina

So,, what you're saying is that the "anticipation" of starting treatment was so much worse than what it actually was,, right? Thats what I found too...JackieSubject: Re: 1st Shot Last NightTo: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 7:32 PM
