Guest guest
Just wondering if any post-adrenalectomy folks here have had a sudden pain in the surgical area develop *after* the pain from the surgery was already long gone? And if so, why would this happen so long after the area has healed? Woke up with it Saturday morning and it seems to only be getting worse - it's a constant dull pain that becomes an incredibly sharp pain when I bend forward. I'm seeing my primary care doc first thing tomorrow morning. Can't see the surgeon until Friday at the earliest. And I hope to avoid the ER entirely - no fever, no signs of swelling or anything really alarming. Just a bit of discomfort. My theory is that I pulled a muscle while driving on the freeway over the weekend - it was my first weekend of lots of driving since the surgery... -msmith1928 Nulliparous female, 46, 5'3 " , 115 lbs, CT showed 1cm left adrenal nodule, AVS determined disease is unilateral, had left laparoscopic adrenalectomy on 10/13/2011.
