I'm posting for the first time in hopes that someone can give me encouragement in the area of drinking diet soda. I have been drinking some sort of diet soda since I was 12. I'm now 37. I was just journaling to see what my 'toward & away from' motivations are for giving up diet soda. I couldn't think of any! I've known in my heart for years that this could not be a healthy habit, but nothing seems to make me want to give it up bad enough. I drink 6 cans (12 oz) every day, if not more. I also suspect that giving up diet soda will help curb my sugar cravings. I am just starting my weight loss journey and want to know what others think.
