Guest guest
I just wanted to let other parents know about a website that our non-profit organization has started to help parents get personalized social stories for their children at very reasonable prices (starting at $7.95), and all proceeds go to benefit our educational organization. Social stories are great ways for parents, teachers, therapists and other professionals who work with children teach them about a variety of subjects. We have created social stories about subjects such as: Strangers, street safety, going to the doctor or dentist, starting school, new babies, personal space/public space. We can create social stories about any subject you are interested in teaching. You email the subject you want the story to be about and photos of your child, and we deliver social stories right to your email inbox. Very fast turn around time. My daughter with autism absolutely loves being the star of the book and seeing family and friends in the story. I love being about to print out as many copies as I want, so everytime she rips them up or we lose them, I can just print another one. http://innovacademics.blogspot.com/ <http://innovacademics.blogspot.com/> or email us at: dwellogic@... <mailto:dwellogic@...> Thank you! Rhonda - Mother of Alana, 5 yrs. old, dx autism
