Sheena, was exactly as I expected her to be,, such a wonderful and loving lady! She was so glad that she has a way to get ahold of us, Im so glad that 'something' inside of me told me to email him with my phone numbers,, you know, that small still voice,, some call it God, some call it intuition,, Im not sure what to call it but I know that when I've listened to that small voice, it has never let me down.. Rick and his wife are in my prayers also.

Yes Jackie this is a horrible disease and it takes many forms of ways to attack us. We never know what is around the corner for us. I am glad he is being moved up on the transplant list and maybe if we just keep him in our good thoughts he will get a new liver soon.

Yes, it takes someone to pass for us to get new livers when we are waiting for transplant. But my way of thinking is the person who passes get a second chance at life because of the gift that they give in organ donation. A part of them lives on in the person recieving the organs. I would donate if I could and I encourage all the healthy members of my family to check that little box on their drivers license.

Janet, I will pass on your prayers to Rick and tomorrow when I speak with her again.. Yes, it does mean that someone has passed on when we get new livers but those folks are passing away irregardless of whether or not they donate their organs.. but did you know that you can still be a donor? Yep, you can pass on organs to others who also have hep c as long as the other matches work.. So your liver while not perfect might just save someone in ESLD.. and someone who has hep c might need a new heart, or lungs etc.. I found out several years ago that we can still donate organs, but they need to know that we have hep c and our organs can only be transplanted into someone who also has hep c..Jackie

Man sorry to hear this. What I can't figure out is why they took so long to

start the TP testing. My Doc started right after I started going to him and He

asked if I'd done Treatment and said yes did not work.

The bleeding is common in late stage, They were even worried about me if i

had any cuts but did OK. lets just hope the get it done and he has a very short

wait till he gets his TP.

We all hate this disease. Our families hate this disease. Please tell Rick I had two weeks to live when I got my transplant. Nothing is impossible with God.
