Guest guest
Saw my nurse today for my week 8 results. Undetectable! They are keeping me on 48 weeks of treatment instead of 32. So 36 more weeks to go. My liver enzymes are all in normal range and have been somewhat constant and stable since week 4. My Neutrophils are down again to 0.7, my Platelets 113 my Heamaglobin has gone up from 108 to 111. WBC down to 2.2 Blood pressure has been lowish throughout treatment but very low this week @ 104/72. (i'm a 30 year old otherwise quite healthy female) They took my week 12 blood work today, so nurse is going to contact me within the next couple of days as they might have to make some adjustments (less inteferon / ribavarin + the eprex shots), but will cross that bridge when I get there. Also have to go for an ultrasound as my spleen and liver are a bit swollen and tender. Overall I think the news was positive, and am so happy that things have come back undetectable..fingers crossed that things stay that way.
