YAY I just gave myself my first shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I survived, the biggest baby in the world was able to give herself

the shot!!!!!!!!!!!! I went in with my nurse and she helped me and

told me what to do and I just bucked up and did it. It did not hurt

that bad I barely felt it. Stubbing my toe hurts more than this needle

did!

My mom was like yay you must of had your kick butt shirt on. I think I

need to make one for myself.

So anyways this 28 year old was able to go to every dr office visit

alone for a year(in tears most of the time) and now just did her first

shot. I was diagnosed May of 2007. I am feeling very confident. And so

far my head just hurts a bit but I think that is from all of the

stressing I have been doing. My eyes seemed a bit blurry but I think

that was from just putting my contacts in. 3 more riba pills to take

tonight and day 1 of treatment will be done. :)

Thank you all SO much for all of your support. There is no way I would

of known all I know now with out all of you.

Wow, just knew you could do it and you did GOOD,

be proud of yourself, we are proud of you, too!

It's a huge step to get through that first injection,

the next one will be so much easier..

I had my first shot at 3:30 pm. Around dinner time my head started to

hurt. I took 2 tylenol at 7:30pm and went to a candle light party. So

for my first day on the shot I went out to dinner and a party. It's

10:39 pm and I still feel pretty good. My plan was to sit around the

house in bed but my mom and dad told me to live life and go out and

not let this stop me. I did dinner and a small party and feel good.

Thank goodness. I am off to bed to catch up on some sleep.

Day one went off with out a hitch. I am so happy.
