Guest guest
I'm not sure how urologists classify varicoceles, but I was also told - prior to my marriage - that my own varicocele may affect my fertility (perhaps a 30% reduction if I recall his prediction). If you ask my wife, however - 18 years and six children later - she would disagree :-) It may, however, filter out most of the X sperm, seeing as how five of them are boys :-) Mike RE: male infertility Greetings, I’m wondering what kind of practices and research there might be to maximize male infertility. A 29 year old male client was diagnosed with a class 4 varicocele and advised by his urologist that basically he has a nil chance of conceiving. I’m very interested in your insights. Are there recent studies about the subject? Lili Cote de Bejarano 1. Rosenberg L, et al. Vasectomy and the risk of prostate cancer. Am J Epidemiol. 1990; 132(6):1051-1055. 2. Giovannucci E, et al.
