Just as a thought, if your child has or is participating in a Recreational Program thru the Cherokee Rec Dept. this would be a great opportunity to let them know how your child has benefited from their program. They need to hear that there is a need for services. Also, if there are any programs that you would like to see provided this is the time to address them. Thank you, Heidi Fernandez

  • 3 months later...

Over a month ago, I reported to the group that my HCV status went

from " undetectable " to detectable nearing my 48 week mark. Needless

to say, I was quite upset having maintained an undetectable status

almost all the way through. During that time, my Dr. didn't think it

was necessary to continue treatment since the virus returned before

completing therapy. However, contrary to his judgment, I convinced

him to keep me on treatment for at least another month until we could

confirm the previous test results and amazingly my blood work came

back " undetectable " again. I'm not sure if there was a mistake with

my previous blood work or what but I'm so glad that I didn't throw in

the towel and call it quits. Since I never stopped taking my meds

I'm not sure what allowed my status this past month to change but I

will continue treatment for another 6 months. Has anyone else

experienced this before?

Botched tests and mis-read results? Absolutely, happens all the

time......ric

I believe we are spiritual beings. We are here to grow, give and recieve love,

have fun. We will experience pain and joy. These things are all part of this

life and perhaps others to come. Our thoughts create our reality, so we must

choose, everyday, what that reality will be. I wish for you, always, your hearts

desire.
