Guest guest
Happy Holiday's Everyone, I'm one of those who is just sitting back and reading mostly because I feel just plain lousy. I know I'm depressed and it makes me so weepy, overwhelmed and my damn joints ache so bad. But then, today, something I've been waiting for a long time came in the mail. I finally got a hearing with the Social Security Admin. judge which I've been working on since Feb.2006. So that's good. At least I have a chance to help me with paying ridiculously high med. insurance premiums. Sorry so glum, chums. I don't have much faith in the system. I was diagnosed in '92, genotype 1A, 3 x's on treatment, I'm a non- responder. I take a bag of meds to manage the progression of hep, including sever osteoporosis of the lumbar spine, Raynaud's, thyroid meds, blood pressure, anti-anxiety, pain meds. and a whole host of others. I'll try to look for the beauty in this season...enjoy my friends and family (even though I want to hide under the covers)and be grateful for what I DO have going on. I know I'm fortunate in comparison...so I'll let my humility take over. All the Best, Lily > > > If we say tx works approximately 40% of the time than we have a large % of members as non-responders or in late stages sitting in silence. > > This open discussion support group was created especially for all people in all stages clear or not and for loved ones of people with HCV. > > Let's Hear From You. > > Happy Holiday's > > All The Best > > Deb >
