Guest guest
Do you have experience with this type of software? I am looking for software I can use to collect & analyze therapy data. I understand there is technology for recording responses using a PDA. It includes: entering and computing response measures (push a button and get rate, etc); hearing reminders to observe at variable or fixed intervals (beeps); reminders for reinforcement schedules; and interfacing with a computer to graph results. By Googling, I have only found two products apparently for sale. One that appears to be a simple program for home use is called " Gentle Reminder. " It appears to be an old program running on an older Palm Pilot model PDA, but looks more like a reminder than a collector/analyzer of data. www.gentlereminder.com The other is described generally on mydatadecision.com, but I can't get into the pages showing what it does. Have any of you had experience with this? I have also found some research from Georgia Tech which describes the use of a program called Abaris, as well as experiments using " CareLog " to do FBAs from videos. Nowhere have I found the software or hardware specifically for sale that was described in these experiments. If you know of software and/or devices that could be used for any of these functions (mainly capturing, recording, analyzing data), I would love to hear about what you think of them. I know they're out there, but not how to find one specifically to meet my needs. Thanks for any suggestions, Ann Douvier, SLP (And BCBA student) 206-713-7168 adouvier@...
