I am glad they found this so young and I am so gratefull we are in the ARMY and they take care of me . I am so scared ,but I know I can do it ,I had quit smoking for 6 months and recently stared again ,but I got back on the meds again that helped me before so I will quit again ,I just want to be healthy and happy again . I wish you luck and I hope you respond to it ,please fell free to e mail me anytime ,I come on once in a while ,I work full time and I have three children 16 14 and 11 so my time is so limited ,but good luck and be strong . AMANDA IN GA . Tx Scheduled Hi Folks ~~ Well...I'm making progress toward starting tx...they have ordered my medications and are waiting for the insurance approval. If everything goes as we hope, I will start on January 2nd. Things might be a little delayed due to the holidays, but I hope not. They left the choice of which medication that I wanted to use up to me. I chose the Pegasys/Copegus combo because of the pre-measured doses. I thought I might do better with that. They will do a viral load check at 4 weeks and if I am responding then they will continue...if not, they will discontinue tx. If they continue, they will be looking for a 2 log drop by 12 weeks to continue. It is likely the tx will be 6 months since I am a genotype 2, but they determine everything based on your response to tx. I got my initial lab work back (the vampires took 9 vials!) and everything is great except of course the HCV. Oh yeah, I have to redo the Hep B vaccines because apparently the first series didn't develop antibodies for me. They haven't gotten the viral load test back yet. So now I can be about the business of enjoying the holidays. Last Monday was my 50th birthday, for which my husband spoiled me thoroughly. Tomorrow is the family birthday party. So the holidays are off to a good start. Merry Christmas to all, Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
Thanks Gail. Most days I have been getting my water in but sometimes I only get 3/4 of a gallon in...I know starting in January I won't be able to get away with missing any. Right now it's hard because of so many celebrations this month. I find that when I eat extra that I have a hard time fitting all the water in. Happy Holidays, gail wrote: Excellent girl and keep in touch with us.Are you drinking the water like you are supposed to.I want you to fly thorugh this. Guest guest
You get I am....dragon on the run!! Thanks for the birthday wishes. Fifty is good....each 10 years I think...this is not as old as I thought. Now, I can put the "I think I'm getting old" off until at least 60 then reassess. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Guest guest
My new boyfriend is 70 and I can’t think of him as old, so that means I’m not either! Of course, he says having a 50 y.o. girlfriend makes him feel old. lol RE: Tx Scheduled You get I am....dragon on the run!! Thanks for the birthday wishes.
