You are taking a huge dose of Inspra unless you mean 25 mg 2 x a day instead of 250. If you smell the spiro it should smell like peppermint. Same for Aldactone. If not either you cant smell or it may not be the real stuff.What else is going on on Inspra?BP or K better, peeing at night better?Benazpril may not be doing anything for BP if you have PA.Need thumbnail.CE Grim MD What is going on with my hair since I went on Inspra in September? my hair is falling out. This did not happen on the Spiro,not like this. Is there anything I can take to fix this and block the testosterone. Im taking 10 pills 25mg am & pm. yes i think its alot but that is what

it took for me to stop being sick I used to take 4 1/2 pills of spiro am

& pm. Its the twice as much and a little more. any more it puts me to

sleep. I am still feeling to warm and uncomfortable alot of the time,

inspra has fixed my stomach so i can eat again. But I still feel kind

of not right. My hair is depressing me as well. I feel like I am going

to have a heart attack somtimes with the palps. I am just tired of

trying to be well. Its a 24/7 effort here with no real rewards just

still being trapped in Conns. ita

Yesterday I near clapsed in A MRI machine, after 10 minutes I had to get

out, I could feel my body being swamped with adrenal hormones and my

chest beginning to get tight felt like I was going to have a heart

attack , then sick to my stomach, racing heart and the headache . I have

had MRI's befor, I am so poorly blocked on this generic Inspra. It's

like I am racing most of the time and 1 more pill to my already 10 does

me in. I have added back Benazpril now as I would have not gone to

sleep last nite if I didnt. My chest is still tight and I have a slight

headache in the background.

Dr. Girm I dont have to pay for this generic Inspra I am taking, Do you

think I should get the name brand Inspra? I know some generics arent

very good.

Did they give contrast agent during the MRI? Why was the MRI done?

The generic name is eplerenone but it is not yet available as a

generic drug? If so I would like to try it!

The price is killing me.

Should be able to get the generic eplerenone. Cost is still about $2.00 a pill.

Don't know what Walmart gets for it as the say generic drugs are $4.00 for a 30

day supply.

I would try the real stuff and see it it works. Some people get scared in MRIs. It is generic but not a lot cheaper unless used to treat high blood pressure. Then Walmart is $4 a month. The generic name is eplerenone but it is not yet available as a generic drug? I dont understand what you are saying.... if I took my prescription

for Inspra 50mg daily to Walmart,

would they fill it as eplerenone? It will only cost me 4.00 ?

high blood pressure. Then Walmart is $4 a month.

Think Dr mis read what I wrote. don't think it is $4.00 at walmart. The 25MG of

sprio is on walmart $4.00 list. Seems the Walmart add is somewhat misleading.

I'm sure Inspra's price depends on one's drug plan or lack thereof. No one really knows what anything costs. I give $6.50 a month for eplerenone but I know it " costs " more than that.
