We came home early because of the heat , it made it almost impossible for me to do any hiking or walking for that matter . Plus all the hotels were booked up so we stayed at a small place last night and came home tonight .

well Im glad you were able to even find a place to stay,, we are on our way home from woodlake where we went to help celebrate one of old co-workers birthday.. So we're on our way home, man I love this roaming wifi!!! lol it was sooo hot there too, over 100 degrees, and humid, I thought I was gonna melt! lol,,It feels so good to be in the air conditioned car,, that kind of heat saps everything out of me,, even the little that I do have... It was 104 and lemme tell ya my porphyria was given me grief , I thought I could tolerate the day since I had the phlebotomy but it was a no goo... and yeah airconditioning sure makes life in a car great lol.

They have a new medication that can do the same thing but it is dangerous to take for people with compromised liver function . So I am going to do the phlebotomies every two weeks until my iron gets down to 15 .
