Guest guest
No. Worry about you DASHing rather than this is my advice.CE Grim MD I had to have a blood transfusion during a difficult birth/delivery where I hemorrhaged and didn't clot it's called(DICS.) Is it possible to get growths from the blood and plasma received from transfusions? I know I didn't have a choice but I often wonder about the breast cancer and now the PA both of which where DX within the same time frame about 7 years after the transfusion. I thought I read, within the past year, that it was just discovered how to check for cancer markers in human blood. My first thought was... If this is just being determined at this point in time, then how was blood at the blood banks adequately screened for cancer all these years? There must be a margin for error - 80%? I'm certainly not complaining....the blood transfusion saved my life! As well, the expertise of our medical teams cured me both of the cancer and the PA. I am appreciative of their knowledge, expertise and skills. Nina Female, 45yrs, functional aldosteronoma, 3yrs ago dx of stage 1 breast cancer.
