Dear friends, would those of you who are interested please view our response to Senators Boxer et al Op-Ed "Mandate Makes Sense" at:http://www.cathmed.org/issues_resources/blog/cma_women_physicians_respond_to_women_senators_column/and if you like our piece, please encourage others to view it?We initially tried to get the Wall Street Journal to publish it, but they refused. Our members have had a hard time getting published. However, if they can see that there is interest on the web (via tracking mechanisms that Dr. Brehany below speaks about), then they may reconsider. As you know, the mainstreet media are very difficult to break into and any

I thought you all would like to see the attached. I was checking out our Google Analytics Hits Tracker when I saw a big bump on Monday. I looked and saw almost all the hits were on the page featuring you open letter to the Senators. Just for perspective, before Monday, the page averaged 10-15 hits a day. The high point on the graph is 3,450 pageviews (Monday) and 1,460 (Tuesday). As you can see people spent almost 4 minutes on the page -- so, they are reading the letter.
