Homeopathic medication for calming down a very energetic paraplegic dog

Hello every one,

I am seeing a dog, paralysed in both hid limbs, but does great with a cart. He

is very energetic with a very dedicated owner who takes great care of him.

However he is always restless and she is having trouble with guests at her

house, as he is competing with them for the owner's attention. She is inquiring

about a homeopathic medication to calm down the dog, more for reasurance, not

for sedation. She is also suggesting Valleriana supplementation. Has anyone

treated a similar case - ever used homeopathic or valeriana supplements for such

a cause?
