Guest guest
Well, our two Noelles are going to be brace twins too . My Noelle picked out the same pattern too. No, Ian's original doc is in Alabama and the other is the one you see for your Noelle (I hate not being able to say names on here, lol). We, are at the Philly Shriners this time. I have to say that I miss our old doc more than I can say. It's so hard to change when you really like a doctor . How funny about prescreening. Ian picked out the yucky tornado pattern, lol. Guest guest
Steph,Isabella is doing pretty good. We just had a sore on her hip to deal with in this cast but it looks better now. Unfortunately, the poor girl has been knocked out with back to back colds after returning from our casting trip. I just love all those germs that her brothers bring home from school! We are due to go back Nov. 12 and 13th. Thanks for asking about her! How is brace life going? Guest guest
Noelle is doing great! She loves her brace and has adjusted without a flaw... No problems with her not wanting it on, etc.... I am still nervous about it! LOL Which figures for me! I haven't slept right since the darn thing went on..... Butterflies in the stomach worrying about if it will maintain the correction and whatnot.... It'll pass soon just like my cast worries did, but just goes to show that it really is easier on them! I'm so sorry Isabella keeps getting sick! that's awful...... We had a winter like that last year where we made just about every casting appointment by the skin of our teeth! Hi All! At long last, Noelle is in her first brace! I can hardly believe it! Her supine x-ray went from 10 degrees to 15. but her standing one went from 15 down to 10! Our doc, my husband and I all think the supine x-ray wasn't accurate because Noelle was laying on a pillow and her head was to the side. But she was standing nice and straight in her x-ray and for the first time EVER in her life I can no longer see a visible curve with my naked eye.... How's that for a birthday gift! I am beside myself with joy!!!!! - Noelle's mommy, 2 1/2 years old and in 8th cast from Rochester NY, reflux, mild plagiocephaly, mild torticollos, hypotonia, ligament laxity, suspected Ehler's Danlos III
