Guest guest
Isn't anyone else sprouting out there in sproutland? Today I harvested 6 trays of sprouts and Alan brought a ziplock bag filled with them on his doctor appointment. He now has a new chiropractor. Guess who will be getting some sprouts when Alan goes to see him? The guy shares a practice with Dr. Fred (who loves my sprouts). So now Alan will be bringing a bag for Dr. Fred and a bag for Dr. Rob. How funny!!! Guest guest
Yes, I am sprouting. I am trying to sprout Mustard for the first time. So far I have a few little sprouts. I purchased this mustard at Whole Foods when I was there doing a bulk buy on dried beans and herbs. Oh they also had a Autumn Lentil mix all very tiny lentils, I tried sprouting them and it worked, they are delicious. I was afraid they would not sprout but they did. Lets see I have some broccoli, clover, alfalfa, mustard, and fenugreek going right now. In the fridge I have some radish, clover, alfalfa, green and blue lentils, mung beans and the Autumn lentil mix. So yes I am sprouting and loving it!!!! > Isn't anyone else sprouting out there in sproutland? > Today I harvested 6 trays of sprouts and Alan brought a ziplock bag filled > with them on his doctor appointment. > > He now has a new chiropractor. Guest guest
Want to hear something strange? I cannot stand lentil sprouts (whether cooked, raw, sauteed, whatever. They DO NOT AGREE with my stomach. Tried this 3 times. Same thing happened every time. Constipation, gas, bloating. As soon as I eliminate this from my eating patterns, I'm back to my old, jovial, happy, (going to the bathroom regularly) self. I shall now give them to Alan. He has no side effects whatsoever. Thank god. lol Melody > > > > > > > > They went an' built a skyscraper seven stories high > > > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Yes, I am still sprouting. In addition to the regular spring salad, sunflower greens, lentils, mixed beans, ancient eastern blend, broccoli, I have added the green kale. Also, I am trying the next step, which is growing some of the hard to sprout in water seeds, this time in soil. Have tried arugula, curly cress and also red cabbage. They are lovely and have very unique taste, strong. They are nice if you use them to top your salad. Gave some to my friends and another one saw it and asked for a tray. I am currently growing a tray for her, with a heart shape in the middle, filled with arugula, then surround this heart with red cabbage. > ** > > > Isn't anyone else sprouting out there in sproutland? > Today I harvested 6 trays of sprouts and Alan brought a ziplock bag filled > with them on his doctor appointment. > > He now has a new chiropractor. Guest guest
I am harvesting a tray of broccoli sprouts every day to juice in my Vita-Mix. I also have a tray of kale ready. My microgreen harvest is sunflower seeds, peas, radish and ready in a few days will be beets. Can't wait to try the beets. Tx Lucy
Guest guest
Hi Lucy, Do let us know how the beets turn out and how you like it. I love to grow beets but am still in the process of selecting where to get them. May I ask how much did you buy, where and at what price. To grow it regularly, the cost has to be reasonable without having to buy it by the kg. To try out, 4 oz is ideal. > ** > > > I am harvesting a tray of broccoli sprouts every day to juice in my > Vita-Mix. I also have a tray of kale ready.
