IOWL session on metabolism

When I listened to the session on metabolism I felt so relieved, see I

used to work out about an hour 5 days a week and nothing was happening

to my weight loss. Since I began listening to the podcasts I have had

so much clarity in what weight loss is really about. I feel relieved

knowing that so many others go through similar experiences as me. I

need to lose around 30 pounds and have been struggling with this since

my second child was born 2 years ago. Now I am tuning in more to my

body signals and eating when hungry and stopping when I am

comfortable. I am truly amazed at how much better I feel, I feel

stronger mentally. I am hoping after I listen to the sessions to

eventually get off my antidepressants and feel more positive about

myself. In another session I listened to I realized that maybe I was

holding on to the weight because it was like armor for me. I really

don't like unwanted attention and realized that when I was a size 6 I

didn't like all the stares. Is that strange? To some I know it is,

many people like that kind of attention from strangers, well I don't.

I just need to realize that losing weight is going to be a natural

process and that I have many things to work on. I am glad I joined

this blog. I am trying to get my friends involved but it is like

pulling teeth. Thank you for offering this wonderful tool.
