All I have is an ISOP brochure. Not sure what the Mehta thing is........you'll have to let me know. Maybe I need a copy of that one. Tasha, I just got off the phone with ISOP to request pamplets but i only asked for one copy and said i would make additional copies myself. They said they would send me a brochure and the mehta pamplet. Is that all of them or do you have something different? If so let me know.

Hays IS a really nice town, I agree! It was so safe when I grew up, no one locked their doors. Thank you, about my Dad. He was the drama professor at the University there for many years, head of the drama dept. Now I AM the head of the drama dept.- with my child's health crisis- ha.

People still dont lock their doors there,even my sister never does. It is a very quiet, safe town. I know what you mean by being the drama professor, arent we all! LOL!

Yes Monroe is the middle school. my sis works there, how weird is that? you went to that school and you can still remember it! Such a small world. Nice to know someone from Ks on here. Makes me feel at home....

Hey! We are from Kansas as well. A very litle town just north of Manhattan KS, by the Neb/ Ks border, called Blue Rapids. It's a great little town to raise kids in, about 1,300 people. And no, we never lock our doors either! Everyone has been so great and supportive to us and Maddox going through all this, even having several fundraisers to help pay for medical expenses. Indeed, it is a small world! Oh and by the way, does anyone know the Krannawitters of Hays? It's the maiden name of a friend of mine that came from Hays.

You live in KS now? Are you close to Seneca? I have heard of Blue Rapids. If you live there now where do you go for treatment? I do not know your friend in Hays but my sister has lived there for 16 yrs. Her name is Staci Biskie. Maybe your friend knows of her because my bro in law owns the big gym/karate school there on Main street.

We do live in KS now, and we are very close to Seneca! Only about 40 miles away! We go to Children's Mercy in Kansas City for treatment. Wonderful place. They were a litle slow to get on the band wagon for casting, but now they've had "Mehta training" and are really doing their best to learn the best ways to treat Maddox. It's exciting to know that what they are learning will eventually help other children as well. Maddox calls Children's "my hospital" and says he loves his doctors. They really treat us like family!

Thats great to know. My hubby got a job offer for us to return to KS and we wanted to go but didnt know we had options for casting at KC! I wish we had known that sooner! They do not do it for free like shriners or scottish rite does though do they? We decided to stay in Texas so our son can get the care he needs because he needs a great neurosurgeon as well. But thats good news to know in the future in case we get another opportunity to return home, we miss it!

My ex husband has family in Seneca. Cant think of the last name right now though...
