Guest guest
I offered her one but she preferred a " tickle test " ! Actually when they offered her to check my sprained thumb I refused and saw a PA instead. She showed me the x-ray, explained the bone structure and showed me the bone she was worried about (where thumb transistions to the wrist). She also reviewed my mammogram that had been done 3 days prior and did an excellent job at that also! She was one of the " immediate care docs of the day " ..... > > > > > > & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; > > > > > > & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; I just spoke with Sen. Bernie ' (I-VT) office about my sexual discrimination issue regarding mammograms. (It was actually his #1 man in Vermont.) They will be addressing that issue in Washington. > > > > > > & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; > > > > > > & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; & gt; While I had him on the phone I told him I would soon be looking for advice on how to change the system! I briefly explained how I felt the system was " missing the boat " when it came to treating my condition, I did concede it was a broader issue than just the VA but felt it could make a big difference in quality and cost of care for the VA. I told him it would take me a month or two to get my act together and then we could meet and agree on an approach.
