Hi ,

Of course I haven't seen what it looks like, but now that you describe

it better, another possibility is eczema. It can occur quite

frequently under the arms. Have you been to a dermatologist? A short

course of mild oral or topical steroid cream would probably be what a

dermatologist would recommend, assuming of course it actually is

eczema. You could test a mild hydrocortisone cream to see if it does

anything, but you may need something a bit stronger. Oatmeal baths can

also work well to relieve the itchiness. If Neosporin did nothing then

we can probably rule out bacterial infection.

it could be of staph too. ( a friend of me had that and it was much

irritated since under the arms. Also it could be from consuming dairy as

they are called the dairy bumps my daughter has them on her legs.It is a

rash that looks like of heat rash but is not red but like white lilted bumps

and was to wonder on something if a child is on GF/CF diet what would happen

if you use external products with wheat or oatmeal. Would it soak into the

skin and or such. Some soaps and hair shampoos have of that with wheat and

or oatmeal in it? Would thi sbe off limits if onthe diet.

Oh, we have the bumps too around the stomach. the dr. said it was like

impetigo only some other fancy name and not staph but bacterial. he

said it would be around for a longtime. 6 mos to a yr. i thought it

might have been shingles but he said due to the visual of it it wasnt

that.
