http://vetrehabsymposium.weebly.com/call-for-abstracts.html The organizers of the 6th InternationalSymposium on Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy in Veterinary Medicine invite veterinarians,physical therapists, veterinary technicians, physical therapist assistants,researchers, and students to submit abstracts for consideration for podium orposter presentations in both research and clinical sessions. Accepted abstracts will be published as part of the proceedings that participants attending the meeting will receive. RESEARCH SESSIONSAbstracts submitted for consideration forthe research session should be based on a scientific investigation to test ahypothesis. The research may be conducted in a laboratory or clinicalsetting, but must have adequate controls or similar groups to prove or disprovethe hypothesis. CLINICAL SESSIONSAbstracts selected for the clinicalsession include reports of a series of similar cases treated with physicalrehabilitation techniques or individual case reports of unique conditions ortreatment modalities. Adequate follow-up evaluation and outcome measures should be reported. PODIUM PRESENTATIONSPresentations will be 20 minutes: 15minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and discussion. A discussant for each paper will be assigned. POSTER PRESENTATIONSGraphic material that an audience mightwish to review at leisure, such as histological illustrations or complex dataforms are particularly appropriate for poster presentation. Up to 4' x 4'posters will be accommodated. ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONAbstracts must be received by March15, 2010 (abstracts must be received via mail or e-mail by thisdate; faxed copies will not be accepted). Late abstracts will not be accepted. PRESENTER NOTIFICATIONPresenters will be notified of acceptance or rejection by May 1, 2010.
