Hello,

Could someone please confirm if " BEV " is the Italian equivalent of

ventricular tachycardia (VT)?

" BEV " appears to stand for: " battiti ectopici ventricolari " , literally,

ventricular ectopic beats. But I have not found any references for that

phrase in English.

If that is the case, then BESV (battiti ectopici supraventricolari), would

be the equivalent of supraventricular tachycardia.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Lucy

Hi Lucy,

Ventricular ectopic beats are usually called ventricular extrasystoles, and

supraventricular ectopic beats supraventricular extrasystoles.

Kind regards,

LP
