Dear All,

I keep wondering who the economic winners and losers are in the HHS debate.

These two articles from the Post and the Times are worth comparing/contrasting/

and sharing with others. (The message I sent to one columnist is below. That

was before the Post article came out in the Health section today.)

I'm hoping you will think a bit more about what the recent HHS mandates are

forcing on women and what an injustice they really are to us. Did you read the

recent article in the NY Times about how injectable contraceptives raise the

I've used and taught fertility awareness and would be happy to give you

information about it.

Medical professionals ( and the government) may be coercive toward minorities,

poor women, women with disabled children, single women, etc. Women may well be

caught up in a stampede toward iimplantable or injectable contraception. or

sterilization which takes away their choice to have children permanently.

Fertility awareness demands self restraint from men- contraception demands

nothing. Who are going to be the winners here? Over the years the destructive

nature of this mandate will be very clear. Please take a second look. Thanks so

African women has biological properties that may make women and men more

vulnerable to H.I.V. infection.

It is good that you are writing. Thank you for the NYT article. How appalling to see what injectable contraceptives are doing to men and women in Africa. It is part of the false safe sex mentality.
