Guest guest
Dear colleagues, In a clinical trial report, I have difficulty translating the following: This decision (discharge - A.S.) was made by the duty *consultant registrar* in consultation with... And later in the same text: All of the surgery was done by the senior investigator or a *fifth year specialist registrar* who had trained on animals and done 12 such procedures in our unit before the start of the trial. Can anybody explain what means *registrar* in a UK clinic? Thanks in advance, S. Sosnovsky, M.D. Biomedical Translation & Editing asosnov@...
