Tarsal and carpal laxity in Collie

I've attached pictures of an 11 yr MN Collie.  The owner reports 5 year progressive history of tarsal and carpal laxity.  The R tarsus is severely affected.  I suspect lateral luxation of the superficial digital flexor tendon and rupture of lateral collateral ligament.  I know this condition is reported in Shelties and Collies but have never seen it affect all limbs (he also has evidence of SDFT rupture in front limbs).  Do we suspect an immune-mediated process?

The owner is not interested in surgery.  I am in the process of ordering a custom tarsal wrap from Therapaw.  Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance,-- Leilani Alvarez, DVM, CVA, CCRT
