Field Trial Dog-Maintaining weight

I have a client who has a field trial dog in training and they have been having

trouble keeping weight on him. He is presently on Purina Performance and has

been getting 5-7cups of kibble/day. They are concerned about feeding that much

kibble and had asked me about a supplement. Its called Impact and is by

maet Pet foods. I looked at the website and it looks like a

Protein/Vitamin/Mineral supplement but does list specific ingredients.

Dose anyone have any experience with this product or have any suggestions for

maintaining weight for this athlete.

They are not interested in trying a different dog food.
