She got most of it right - please note that higher doses of the combined estrogen and progesterone pills do NOT cause osteoporosis. To my knowledge, only DEPO is associated with loss of bone mass or osteoporosis ("Depo Provera: What the NYT Did Not See Fit to Print http://tinyn.ro/blogs/print/28216). Also, can anyone verify whether the breast cancer rate in 1960 was 1 in 12 or 1 in 20. I have seen 2 different figures. I checked the SEER data and i couldn't pull the 1960 data...
