We have received strong indications that the Blunt Amendment, #1520 the Respect for Rights of Conscience Act, will be the first amendment voted on when the Senate returns to the transportation bill, which could be as early as this afternoon. We are not aware of any other specifics of the vote at this time. ACTION: Groups are encouraged to send score letters on this vote while continuing to contact Senate offices in support of the Blunt Amendment. I will be sure to keep you updated as I know more. Best, S. WeidmaierSenator Roy Blunt (R-MO)
