Guest guest
Hi all, Even though I originally posted about how to handle hoarding, I just thought of something that has kinda helped us with my daughter's hoarding of trash and " organic " things that will disintegrate...she started asking us to take photos! Of a snowball, an icicle, a funny shaped potatoe chip, a clay sculpture that was biodegradable, Christmas cookies, etc...so that has actually helped us some, at least with stuff we really cannot keep around. Of course it doesn't help with the tons of toys she won't part with... But now she is taking 'photos' with her blinking, which is becoming a more frequent problem altogether. She blinks to take pictures of stuff as she walks around the house. It started with the CD player in her room at night changing the song number display. Now she also adds a " whirring " sound to it, like a camera functioning. Interesting. Maybe the photo thing has backfired! :-)
