Guest guest
Hi Penny, When I read your yeast post yesterday, I meant to respond about your hydrogen peroxide query. It has been used for over a century for a variety of ailments, including bacterial and yeast infections. Anaerobic yeasts and bacteria are killed when introduced to H2O2 because it is a powerful oxidizer, as evidenced by the bubbles generated when you put it on a cut. It can be absorbed systemically through the skin as well in bathtub, but the studies I have read suggest using food grade 35% H2O2. Also, I tried an experiment based on another study I read. It is theorized that cold and flu viruses enter through the middle ear. I put a few drops of 3% H2O2 (diluted from the 35%) in each ear until the bubbling stopped (about 10 minutes) and it eliminated a potentially bad cold in less than a day! It has to be repeated two or three times about every two hours for the flu apparently, and it knocks that out too. It is essential to do this right at the onset of symptoms.
