Talk about mixed messages. Those morally whip-lashed girls with their packages of portable liberation usheredin a generation of women determined to break free from their inferior patriarchal oppressors. And how did they manifest their superiority? Their freedom? Thanks to The Pill, by casual, drive-by sex. Whoa. That really showed those stupid boys.The smart daughters of that generation lamented the demise of romance. Today's smart daughters just say NO!We've come a long way, baby.
