Abby's has been seeing a chiropractor for several months now, I cannot say

enough good things about it. I have seen improvements in all areas. I mainly

delve it to it to see if it would control Abby's Epilepsy. Her EEG at the end of

January showed countless seizure waves, we just did the EEG again last week

and I am eager to see if seeing a chiropractor cuts down on some of the seizure

activity, we will get the results this up coming Friday. I have seen

improvements in Abby's all around health, I have seen a huge decrease in her

constant

need for sensory input, and also her speech is clearer. Toni, I don't know

where you are from, we are from Michigan and Abby sees DR. Ovares. Hope

that

helps.

I asked this same question here months ago, called the International

Chiro Assoc, to make sure to find one with Diplomate status, a

Pediatric Chiro, found 1 of 2 in the entire province, made an

appointment, she spoke to us at length of how she would need to

manipulate her neck and do adjustments, and that scared the be-jesus

out of myself and my husband , so we have decided to not pursue it

further.

I just joined the group and I don't know how to post a question. I get all

these emails to other people and from people answering emails and I don't know

how to do this. Please give me the info.

Thanks

Becky

I will honestly say that Abby's chiropractor has never done anything that

would make me worry about her neck. I think people seem to think that

" manipulation " is twisting and pulling of the neck. Our chiropractor does

more with

pressure points then anything else. He doesnt " crack " her bones or anything

like

that. Perhaps the chiropractor that you spoke with should have explained

things better to set your mind at ease.
