Guest guest
Hello Diane and all-- Here's the frustrating part--I know what is good for me. I know even at the very moment I'm putting it in my mouth that this is not what I want to do. And I do it. What is that all about, anyway? Something said made me think of it a little differently. We should see our choices for good behaviors as self-indulgent, not self-sacrificing. I have so many cute, smaller-size clothes in my closet and it is KILLING me. Guest guest
I think thats where many of us are at. Losing weight isnt about learning good nutrition, its about the mind. I still go and get food I know is not what I should be eating. The trick is to do it less, and try to make better choices when you are there. Small changes tend to work better than huge sweeping changes. > Hello Diane and all-- > Here's the frustrating part--I know what is good for me. Guest guest
When you continue doing a behavor that is keeping you from reaching your goals and you do it over and over and you know this. You are getting some kind of payoff from the negative things you continue to do. If you were not getting something out of it you would not continue to do it. You need to pay really close attention to what you are feeling when you are eating something for the wrong reasons.
