Guest guest
Hi , First of all, lucky you - going to Spain! =) I cannot think of a greater challenge than being on a vacation in a beautiful country with wonderful food and not gaining several pounds. It's amazing you did so well, especially when you are still learning these new methods. Then after being discouraged at your return and you started to put on a little bit more weight - you stopped! Would you have done that in the past? I sure wouldn't have been able to do so. Good for you. That's amazing. I know you will do well. We are all here. Guest guest
You're absolutely right Joan, thank you so much! I didn't stop as soon as I would have liked, but I did stop - and I definitely wouldn't have done that before. Guest guest
You must give yourself a lot of credit for " self-correcting and bringing yourself back into balance " so quickly!! Remember that the goal to reduce the (D.I.F.) duration, intensity, and frequency of our over eating episodes. So pat yourself on the back and thank your trip to Spain for the learning experience. > > You're absolutely right Joan, thank you so much! Guest guest
Very Cool, ! You deserve this, and it's wonderful that you are looking forward to feeling great-- why shouldn't you? The self-correction podcasts are nice because they don't chastise us and heap mounds of guilt on top of disappointment. Weight watchers often had the effect of making me feel WORSE about myself than I did before the diet. Why would I want to feel bad about myself? Life is hard enough as it is...
