Guest guest
I have been contacted by a couple (living in the U.S.) from the ines who are very concerned about the current (and very repressive) " reproductive health " bill on the table there - one that has, according to them, a reasonable chance of passing and being signed by the president. They are wanting to know which NFP organizations are active in the ines and want to be in touch with those who are working to oppose contraception and promote NFP as much as possible. Can anyone point me in the direction of resources for this? I have not researched the bill at all myself yet but according to this couple there is a provision for penalties on having more than 2 children, stiff penalties for public school teachers refusing to teach the preferred sex ed ideology to children as young as 9 - and the problem is in the past the president had indicated he (or she?) would veto it but now the president is in favor, as well as the major universities. This couple feels if we could promote NFP more aggressively there, especially among the academics, it would help.
