I just spoke to her this morning and she told me the same thing.

She sounded great. She and Liv are really doing well with this. Halo traction is one of the most difficult things to do! So glad Liv is acclimating and getting around with the walker. Pray that she continues to gain strength and energy. said Liv can feel the metal they had to leave in her back, so pray that there won't be complications. Liv is small in frame and her connective tissue issues add to this.

Soon the hard part will be keeping herself occupied, then the next big surgery. That won't be easy either. Continue to pray for them and send them cards. When you're in the hospital that long it is such a blessing to know people are thinking of you. Helps keep you connected with the outside world.

could give you more specifics. I think they are doing growing rods. There really isn't anything else out there right now, sadly. I'm sure will let us know when it gets closer. I think halo time is 8 weeks.
