Guest guest
DASH and do 2 cups of low Na V-8 today.Read every label sodium and try to keep below CE Grim MD I am thinking maybe my potassium is low b/c I've had my potassium drop to 2.5 and I remember all the symptoms and now feeling the same way, this started couple days after spiro and I don't have blood work done until Monday... Re: muscle spasms and headaches Muscle spasms and headaches are likely from low potassium rather than low iron. I'm pretty certain that some folks here have to continue taking potassium supplements (prescription, not the OTC vitamin-aisle kind) while on spiro - I only took spiro for a short time but my K dropped down to 2.5 within a couple days of starting it and stopping the K supplements, so back on the K tabs I went. FWIW, since my adrenalectomy 5 weeks ago I have not had a single headache or muscle spasm. My K has been steady at 4.5 - higher than it ever was while on the supplements. Pre-adrenalectomy, my most intolerable symptoms were muscle spasms and headaches! -msmith1928 Nulliparous female, 46, 5'3", 115 lbs, CT showed 1cm left adrenal nodule, AVS determined disease is unilateral, had left laparoscopic adrenalectomy on 10/13/2011. Guest guest
In addition to Ca, I was occasionally on insulin, but it' because my diabetes was worse. Not every day.
