Guest guest
Hi , Buckley's is a God awful tasting sirop mixture used for coughs and congestion. Just got the bottle and the active ingredients are potassium bicarbonate, ammonium carbonate, menthol, camphor. As I say, it is very strong tasting but really clears everything immediately, probably burns through it all, as it is a burning sensation you feel! Would check with your pharmacist to be sure depending on age of person using and other meds, ours is a teen, so not worried about that. I just googled it and it is at wikipedia. It is made in my province of Ontario in Canada. Made since 1920. Original formula does not have DM, others do. As far as I can tell it is " all natural " . Works really well, their slogan is " tastes awful, but it works " and that is exactly our experience. Not sure if you can get it in the US?, but could probably order directly, the website - www.buckleys.com. It does say to consult physician if other medication being used.
