tics and clonidine, need advice

My son is having either complex tics or OCD, and I am not sure which one. I have

not taken him to a psychiatrist yet. The past week he is getting stuck turning

circles and touching things. I can barely get him to move from one room to the

next.  I really want to up his Clonidine to 2 tablets, and see what happens.

The question is for anyone that can help me and has been through this.

Does anyone know if Clonidine will help with this OCD stuff, or from experience

will he need some type therapy to help or possible another type medication.

 

Any suggestions? We are not getting enough sleep either, It takes him a long

time to get to bed with all the circle turning and touching things, walking back

and forth.
